It's that time of year, when the leaves start turning, temperatures are dropping, and our thoughts turn to the upcoming holidays (or for some of you down under, leaves are growing and temperatures are rising...lucky ducks!)....

And it is the perfect time of year for my
EARLY BIRD SALE!

Friday, October 28th at 12:01 am
to
Monday, November 7th at 11:59 pm

EVERYTHING in my Etsy shop will be 20% OFF!

Because after all, the Early Bird gets the worm...and in this case that worms are shiny and made of metal :D

You may have also read above that there is going to be a GIVEAWAY.
We all love those, don't we?
I will be giving away a pair of my gorgeous The Dalles Mountain Buttercup Earrings to one lucky winner and one Lemongrass Jar Candle each to three lucky winners!

OCAC Annual Jewelry Sale!!!
Every year, the Oregon College of Art and Craft's Metals Department holds a jewelry sale to raise funds for their Visiting Artist Fund. This money goes towards bringing in a visiting artist to teach a weekend workshop to students at the school. It is also great exposure for students and alumni, as well as a fantastic place to find great gifts for yourself or others at very very good prices.

The sale is on May 15 and 16 from 10 am to 5 pm both days. Please come by the metals department and have a look!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a message and ask! Or you can hop over to OCAC's Website and find out more there.

The first pieces from my Helping Others collection is up. The proceeds from all the jewelry I will be making for this will be going to different charities. First up is Aussie Helpers, a grassroots organization that directly helps families and farmers in the outback who have been negatively affected by the many years of droughts there.

You can view my Eucalyptus Earrings in my Etsy Shop.

This is the last week for my Clearance Sale in my Etsy Shop!!! After the sale is over, I will be scrapping a lot of pieces that are no longer relevant to my business/aesthetic and will be re-launching my business. Some changes are already taking place with graphics, etc. Keep an eye out for new, intriguing pieces!

For the month of July, I will be having a clearance sale in my Etsy Shop. Be on the look out for a lot of things marked down drastically. I am purging old pieces from my shop in lieu of an evolving style. I will soon be featuring more one-of-a-kind pieces, patinaed jewelry, and a little more sculptural work too. Stay tuned!

I recently sold a beautiful Rose Quartz ring to a customer overseas. You can have a look at it here .

It is made with a sterling silver band, 14 KY gold setting, and a beautiful 5 mm Rose Quartz stone. I have one as part of my promise ring set, and absolutely love it.

What have I been up to lately? I joined the ranks of Oregon College of Art and Craft full time, and am also working part time as a nanny (it seems too much and yet not enough at the same time), so my time has been sucked into what seems to be a never ending vacuum.

The past few weeks have left me amazed at how much I can fit on my plate. And also, how much I misspell words when I'm tired. Right now I'm working on some chased pieces, a whole lot of samples for my Surface & Stonesetting class, and homework for Math, Science, and Modernism courses. I'm trying to stay on top of everything as well as have a little time to relax.

If you would like to find out more about what I'm up to, you can visit my Blog or my Flickr page!
