Winter was a rough one this year, but we are emerging now. Spring is here, and I am basking in the sun, the new growth, the sounds of whirring machines as people spring into action tending their gardens. What's more is that during winter, my husband and I worked hard every weekend and breathed new life into a new space just for me--my new studio!
From a dusty old shop with concrete floors and questionable shelving...
....into a beautiful, cozy and creative space! It still feels a bit foreign, but I am learning my way around this new space and the flow of it. There's definitely more re-arranging of tools and stored goods that needs to happen, but that will come. For now, I am so grateful to be able to play again!
I have rediscovered artwork that was stored away for 2 years, along with stones and treasures I had forgotten about. I've started laying out stones and playing with color again. There is a repair and commission in the works, which always helps to drum up the creative juices. I cannot wait to show you what's in store next!
